Insertion: Pretzel Reindeer

In this Instructable, I will show you how to take a leak pretzel reindeer. This easy pretzel Rangifer tarandu treats formula is so diverting and easy to make. There are 3 options that you potty try if you like. Make one kind or a combination of all three of them. They make a great gift for the holidays or put them outside of your gingerbread house or whatever you like. Make these with the kids for a fun family evening together. If I bum do it, you can do it. Let's get started!

Footprint 1: Ingredients and Tools

Ingredients:

  • Pretzels - Use the thin kind
  • Double stuffed Oreos
  • Rolos
  • Mini Reese's peanut butter cups (either milk chocolate or dark)
  • Red hots or Red M&Multiple sclerosis
  • Candy eyeballs
  • Umber or frosting - Candy melts work smashing

Tools:

  • High bag or a plastic bag or a little brush
  • Knife
  • Sheet pan lined with parchment paper or a silicone mat
  • Bowlful

Step 2: Selection 1 - Rolo Pretzel Reindeer

This first option is the Rolo pretzel reindeer. Preheat the oven to 350 F/176 C. Take a pretzel and add up a Rolo to the center or near the bottom.

Place them connected a sheet pan lined with parchment paper Beaver State a silicone baking mat.

Bake in the oven for 1 to 2 proceedings. Don't forget close to them! You only want the Rolos to get soft.

Step 3: Cut the Pretzels

For all trio options, you will need pretzel pieces for the antlers. You can cut them however you like, they are prone to breaking but preceptor't worry about that. They don't call for to be perfect. I do try and cut letter-perfect down the center to give me to nice pieces, haha.

Step 4: Assemble the Rolo Reindeer

Now press the glaze eyeballs into the top of the Rolo. They leave stick no job to the hot chocolate.

Place a red heatable for the nose or you can use a red M&A;M, although I like the red hots better.

You can leave information technology alike that, or add the pieces of pretzel for the antlers. Just stick them right into the chocolate part of the Rolo.

Formerly you are done, place the trash in the electric refrigerator so they can set. They only need 15 to 20 proceedings in the fridge.

Step 5: Option 2 - Oreo Pretzel Reindeer

Immediately for the ordinal choice, the Oreo cookie Pretzel reindeer, or they kind of look alike a chase too, haha. These are similar to Oreo Turkeys.

Choose some candy melts, flannel chocolate chips, milk chocolate chips, etc, and thaw them in the microwave oven or apply the double steam boiler method on the stovetop.

Or if you have a micro-cook-safe piping bulge, you can just mellow them in that in the microwave. Use bursts of 25 seconds and and so knead the bag, and repeat until all melted.

Merely if you melted the deep brown in a sports stadium you can scoop it into a high bag, or conscionable allow for it in a bowl and usance a small encounter or lollipop bond apply the chocolate.

Add some chocolate to the upside of the twice full Oreo cookie. Then gently insert the antler pieces. Its okay if the back of the Oreo breaks, you can attach it.

Then splatter a little coffee on the underside of the Oreo and put up a Rolo. Past place some chocolate on elevation of the Rolo and add either a red hot or an M&M. Then add two dabs of chocolate and place the candy eyes, surgery you can just leave the chocolate for the eyeballs.

NOTE: I pay off candy eyeballs at my supermarket in the baking section, they can be found at Walmart, Target, etc. also online.

Put away them in the fridge to laid for 15 minutes.

Whole step 6: Option 3 - Peanut Butter Cup Pretzel Reindeer

Finally the third base option, Peanut butter cup pretzel reindeer. Discover a mini-peanut buttercup, either Milk River chocolate operating theater dark cocoa one, and and so press in the pretzel antlers.

If you need to, you behind pipe a trifle bit of the chocolate as fountainhead to assistanc keep the antlers in situ.

Then add the chocolate for the nose and eyeballs. Place in the fridge to set.

NOTE: These work the top if the goober butter cups are cool operating theatre chilled first.

Step 7: All Done!

Now you have three different kinds of pretzel reindeer. Make one kind or a miscellanea of all three. This would make a large indoor activity to do with the kids. Enjoy!
